The Rest of Limelight’s Skincare

My friend Katie sent the rest of the Limelight skincare portfolio for me to try! Actually almost everything except the One Drop Wonder. Plus some eyeshadow! I will list everything below and let you know what I purchased. If you want to checkout the first few things I tried, take a peek at Trying LimeLight by Alcone. I don’t sell these but have really enjoyed the products I’ve tried from them.

Quench Cleanse Aloe & Sunflower Face Cleanser-I loved this! So gentle on your face with a light pleasant scent. It doesn’t dry your skin out at all-which is great for me with the dry climate in Colorado. I actually tried to purchase this one but it was out of stock at the time.

Skin Therapist Pomegranate & Oat Face Moisturizer-This stuff is great or dry skin and a little goes a long way. I actually used way to much the first time and ended with moisturizer everywhere. The scent is super light but nice. Overall, probably my favorite.

Skin Polish Lemon and Jojoba Beads Face Mask-I found this to be exfoliating but not too harsh on my skin. You can leave it on for about 10-15 minutes then rinse with warm water. My skin felt so smooth after I used this!

Sotoks Songyi Mushroom Face Serum-I originally felt when I used the Calm Balm that my face felt a little dry but when I paired it with this serum it was the perfect amount of moisture.

Forty Cure Crème Tamanu Seed & Lavender Body Cream-First off, I am obsessed with lavender so I couldn’t wait to try this. The scent is great and it works well. I preferred the Crème of the Crop though.

Crème of the Crop Shea & Safflower Hand & Body Cream-This was my jam. I have super dry hands and this did the trick. After just a few days of using my hands felt softer and no longer looked white from dry skin.

Bamboo Renew Body Scrub-This was a great exfoliator. That being said I use a loofah daily so I don’t have a great need for a body exfoliator but I did like using this on my feet to slough away the dry skin on my heels.

This was my look using the Onyx Eyeshadow palette. Please excuse my weird face. I was taking selfies in the car. These two do let you see how it looks in different lighting and from the front and side. This makes a great smokey eye….I only wish there was a shimmer in there. I ended up using a gold shimmer from my Chocolate Bar palette on my lid.

I ended up buying Dream Clean, Must Dew, and Calm Balm. On the next round I will go with Quench Cleanse and Skin Therapist. They see to work better for me in Colorado’s super dry climate. I also love the Must Dew-I don’t use it every night but do like it when my skin needs a little extra moisture. Let me know in the comments if you have tried anything from Limelight and what you thought of it!
