Wizardry & Witchcraft Palette + Wand Brushes Review

I was anxiously awaiting this palette’s arrival at my house! I preordered months ago and it finally arrived-while I was out of town. It is the Wizardry and Witchcraft eyeshadow palette from Storybook Cosmetics. They also launched wand brushes and I got those months ago but wanted to wait till I received the shadows to put a review up.

Ok, first up-let’s talk about their fun packaging! The brown Storybook bag is what my palette was in with a cute bookmark. The palette looks like a book and I can’t wait till there is more than one for me to stack together at my makeup table. The wand brushes came in pretty similar packaging but it was a smaller blue bag with the logo. This brand is going the extra mile to carry their theme all the way through.

Let’s chat about the brushes. These are heavy in your hand and I always think that feels luxurious! Every brush has a different handle and it feels like you are doing magic with your eyeshadow when you use them. I really have incorporated these into my makeup routine because they are functional and fun. I’ve washed them a few time now and they hold up perfectly. The only thing I would’ve liked a little more would be for the crease brush to be a little more tapered. I like to be able to get into the crease with more precision. I got the gun metal color but they also have gold and rose gold. These retail for $55 on Storybook Cosmetics.

I wanted to leave this photo big enough so you can see all the shadow names. You can really feel the Harry Potter inspiration here with the names as well as the colors. The colors are super rich and have amazing pigment. I have used these a few times now and have zero complaints. I love the wide range of colors that can take you from daytime to smoky eye with no problem! Sorcerer (red), Potions (green), and Merlin (blue) are great because you don’t see colors like this in palettes everyday. This will definitely add some depth to your makeup bag and give you some fun shades to create new looks. This is $52 on their website.

Overall, I am impressed with the quality of this brand. They are doing something different and I am loving it. They also have Rose Face Brushes and a Bullseye Brush Set that I will review another day! Check out the look I came up with below and let me know in the comments if you have tried Storybook Cosmetics.
