Daytime Skin Care Routine

My skin care routine can change from month to month depending on how I feel or what skin concerns I have. So, I though I would share my current daytime skin care routine with you all

In the shower, I use the LimeLight Quench Cleanse with my Clarisonic Mia 2. I like this one because it’s gentle on my skin and doesn’t get too foamy with the Clarisonic.

When I get out of the shower, I spray my face with the Botanics 100% Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz. This product purifies and tones, making my skin look brighter. I smells great and is feels even better-especially in the summer. You could probably keep this in the refrigerator for a skin refresh on hot days! While this dries, I put my deodorant on.

Then, I exfoliate my lips with the Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub in Spearmint. I ordered IMG_0105this when the Pumpkin Spice flavor was out of stock-I still need to try that one! Spearmint smells and tastes amazing! Totally edible but I tend to rinse off the excess when I am finished. This helps any lipstick or gloss I might wear that day go on much smoother.

After my scrub, I put on a lightweight moisturizer for the day. I don’t like anything heavy on my face prior to putting on makeup. I save the heavier products for nighttime. I am currently using the bareMinerals Smart Combination Moisturizer. It is light but hydrating.

IMG_0111Finally a little eye cream, I am in love with Clinique Pep Start. This is a pop of hydration and makes me look much less tired. And the roller ball on this makes application easy. Again, I am all about lightweight products on my skin during the day and this fits the bill. It totally  lives up to it’s name. Let me know what your favorite daytime products are in the comments so I can try them!
